Wow, this was worth the early rise. Sunrise in Anaura.
This isn’t a great photo, I had planned to take another on a white plate but the crayfish disappeared. Yummy! When we arrived in Anaura some fellow campers delivered this freshly caught and cooked. This camp ground was an old school house. The beach is glorius I would like to return there again.
The frequent protests against the drilling along our East Coast are very visual, colorful in language with a very clear message. There is great strength in the community, against the drilling, from the number of signs placed on the road.
Ohiwa Beach the first stop of our East Cape Escape. The camp ground was brilliant, definitely a place to return to.
I struggle to keep up with posting a photo every day. My mobile photography capabilities are extremely limited! I hope this will change with my iPad2 which I get in 56 to 63 sleeps. Not that I am counting or anything 🙂
My photo blog is now Mel’s moments in 2011. It is no longer a photograph a day.
Mel’s moment today is a photo of my laptop which I used in a new app Tiny Planets. Very fun!
